The development of the cantonment began with the taking over of five villages namely Dabbi, Badhtiala, Chunawad, Jawag and Dagshia from the Patiala’s ruling Maharaja Bhupinder Singh without any financial consideration. The location of the school is serene and it is at a higher ground a factor that elicits a lot of tradition and historical background that is important for the growth of students without any form of interferences. With the quality education and all round development for the students, Army Public School, Dagshai stands the legacy it set. The public school, staffed with qualified and skilled professionals, promotes academic success, discipline, and positive attitudes towards various activities in order to prepare students for future responsibilities and become responsible citizens.
