Founded on 21st Jan. 1973 by reverend Madhav Sadashiv Rao Golvalkar and run by Vidya Bharti, an all India educational organisation which runs more than 24,000 schools, Gita Niketan Awasiya Vidyalaya aims at providing quality education based on Indian moral values to the students. Besides having made manifold progress since its inception, the school enjoys the reputation of being a prestigious institution in North India. Gita Niketan Awasiya Vidyalaya feels proud that its foundation was laid by a great visionary and enlightened leader of our times i.e M. S. Golvalkar popularly known as Sh. Guruji. We are always aware of our responsibility to shape the personalities of our students according to great Indian ethos regarding human dignity and fullfilment of human life. Students of Gita Niketan have a global presence today, many of them working in leadership positions in their respective fields. This has been possible due to the divine grace and blessings of Sh.
