The school was established on April 05, 2004 by the dynamic and visionary Chairman Shri B.K. Mittal, Secretary DAV CMC, New Delhi, in the memory of his beloved father. School originated from a small building at Achla Bhawan in Gurdaspur and shifted to its lush green sprawling campus located at Kalanaur road, Gurdaspur in 2006. The foundation of the present building was laid by Sh. Vinod Khanna, hon’ble Member Parliament and the then Sr. Vice-President and present General Secretary of DAV CMC New Delhi Sh. R.S. Sharma ji. The school is directly managed by DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi. The school started with around 36 students, 3 teachers and a few rooms.
