St. Marys Malankara School was started on January 24, 2004, by a small community of people along with Rev. Fr. Mr Zacharias Nanthiattu OIC, Vicar of St. Marys Malankara Catholic Church Sakinaka, Mumbai – Gathered for starting a School. This culminated in the formation of the Malankara Education Society. Subsequently, in 2015 the management of AHIC purchased a strategic piece of land adjacent to the main road touching the Metro line. However, the first batch of SSC students though could not give representation in inter-school competitions due to certain recognition formalities, showed 100% success with several students getting distinctions and first classes. The school was only a sub-college in 2016, but after attaining its full-fledged status, the institution has expanded rapidly in terms of quality as well as size. It has grown Today Malankara School st Marys has a strength of over 2500 students and more than seventy teaching and nonteaching faculty members. The infrastructure includes more than 15000 sq ft of built-up area and approximately 20000 sq ft of land; these speak volumes to the school's belief in offering education to children who number in tents of thousands currently.
