St Francis School Indirapuram, an English Medium Co-educational School in NCR Delhi was started in the year 2004 by the Franciscan Brothers. It is affiliated to the Congregation of the Missionary Brothers of St. Francis of Assisi, an International Religious Society that was started in India in the year 1901 by Rev. Paulus Moritz from Germany. The Congregation’s first priority was on education for orphans and rural populations in the beginning. The Congregation currently has more than one hundred of the centres in India, schools for orphans, schools for normal children, technical education centres for drop outs, leprosy colonies, agricultural training farms, youth hostels, clinics, dispensaries and hospitals. Their work is now done globally in South America, Sri Lanka, Germany, Switzerland and Italy with Mumbai as the main operating base. From this perspective, St. Francis School is the realisation of the Congregation’s mission since the institution aims at providing educative services that reflect the following cardinal objectives: personal, moral, social and spiritual.
