The Montessori School
The Montessori School has been set up in 1943 under the proprietorship of Mrs. Latika Roy and the institute possesses a good standard of education. The doon school Montessori was started by Mrs. Roy and she was trained by Madame Maria Montessori originally with three children from the-campus. The friendly, familiar name of the school suggesting its Montessori background remains associated with excellence. The school got new management on the 1st of April, 1992 and in the march 2004 there were other changes that brought this school to change in different discipline. This growth has also allowed the school to meet the needs of the students in terms of the extra-curricular programs as wanted by the students. Recognised by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination CISCE New Delhi, The Montessori School has carved itself into a prestigious school in Dehradun. The management remains adamant on maintaining the high standard of the school to give students the best deal of education possible. Since its founding, this educational institution has always followed the principles of the Montessori’s method of individual development and keeps the traditions while meeting the modern requirements.
