The school Akshara was started on 24th June 1993. The school is spreading education to fulfill the wishes of the parents of the founder of the school, Mrs.Nalini. The school is run by Meenakshi Narayanan educational and Charity Trust which is in the memory of the parents of the founder. Akshara School, the seat of learning has completed twenty years and is entering into the 21st annual year The school has got a strong building with three floors. The school has got well equipped physics lab, Chemistry Lab and Computer science Lab with fifteen computers. A very good library that has more than 3000 books is used by the students and teachers to get more knowledge along with a reinforced concrete building (G + 2), a well built spacious auditorium where education film shows, competition cultural programmes, meetings, seminars etc., are conducted. A new wing has been built and maintained well as annex to the main building with an area of 1200 sq.ft. for conducting Toilet with 1100 sq.ft has been built with modern facility.
