It is affiliated with the Bhagirath Sewa Sansthan, an organization that was established in 1975 and which runs various social welfare schemes such as a senior secondary school for physically challenged children, a school for the mentally challenged children, an old age home for destitute and abandoned elderly ladies and gentlemen, drug de-addiction and rehabilitation center throughout Uttar Pradesh. Being a community school, Bhagirath Public School aims to develop the education and culture of the people, equality, and diversity in the school. It is run under the administrative board of academicians, retired civil servants, and successful citizens with a vision to produce honest, disciplined, and competent citizens of the state. Being a broad concept based on students’ development, BPS provides opportunities for the students to foster their academic, personal, and mental growth concerning creative learning-teaching processes and a range of co-curricular activities.
