It has been conceptualized to carry forward the ancient Indian tradition of Ashram’s in the contemporary milieu. Our school is situated in Vaishali, which is one of the most backward districts of the country. Though historically, Vaishali enjoys a special place in the Buddhist and Jain tourism circuit and is also the birth place of Republic, it has remained backward. The standard of education is very poor and the area lacks good schools for the overall development of children. Due to this shortfall, most parents who can afford it, send their children to Patna, Ranchi or Delhi for their schooling. The remaining ones stay in Vaishali without good schooling and learning opportunities. It is these children that our school is catering to by charging basic minimal fees from the villagers. Our school is based on the ancient Ashram system and yet very modern in teaching methodology and school infrastructure. At Buddha World School (BWS) we believe that every child is a divine gift to humanity. Thus we have a moral commitment towards enhancing the capabilities of every child, and provide opportunities for their overall growth and development.
