With numerous schools already established in the city, particularly in Indira Nagar, the question arises: why not another school? The answer is in the specifics of vision of CIS (presumably “CIS” stands for a new focalized school). The need was realized by the founder of the school Mr. Manas when he realized that Triveni Nagar did not have English Medium schools. Originally, he wanted to open only one school; however, as he began to communicate with the locals, he understood that it is crucial to teach children in both English and the local language to let as many children as possible get the education they need. Brightland College, led by Mr. Manas and supported by Mrs. Reena Manas as the Director Principal, was thus founded with a clear social mission: so that no child, belonging to Triveni Nagar, cannot be provided proper and good education. This commitment shows a sheer willingness of the partners to actively serve the community by providing a school that encompasses for the learners’ linguistic differences.
