As stated by Amitabh Singh Dhillon IPS the first chief of the school the school was founded in 2005 with more than 200 students from nursery to std V Inculcating values, promoting education and intellectual independence and building a positive attitude towards life are some of the objectives of the school. It is due to the such principles as Creativity, Responsibility, Confidence, Perseverance, Aspiration, Sewa, Suraksha, Severhyog DAV Police Public School is leaving no stone unturned in providing all round education to each child. The subjects and tasks are carefully selected to meet the needs of the children and develop each child’s special potential and at the same time reach the academic goals of each child. One of the focal strategies of the school is to ensure that children with disabilities are accepted as equals by all the rest.
