Dav Public School
The DAV institutions are a rare jewel given by Arya Samaj – an enlightenment movement started by Swami Dayanand Saraswati in 1875. Guruji Swami Dayanand one of the visionaries of the time inspired a fight against social ills and evils within the society of India. Its mission revealed the desire to inculcate in the future generations such virtues as balanced and harmonious growth and adherence to Vedic principles and patriotisms. Towards realization of this mission Arya Samaj started Dayanand Anglo Vedic School in the year 1886 at Lahore. The formation of this very institution lead to the birth of DAV College trust & Management society, which further extended its wings to set up a number of Educational centers in India and in the other parts of the world. These institutions aim to follow the vision of Swami Dayanand Saraswati to provide a quality education with values and culture imbibed into them. It is evident from the case studies that the DAV institutions are performing a great service in molding the minds and character of students and sending them forward to the society as good citizens.
