It was established in 1984 and is run based on the principles of the Arya Samaj and proffers both modern streams and Vedic ideology. It is one of the reputed, largest, and one of the few 10+2 English medium schools of Haryana having more than 5000 students from Nursery to XII. D. A. V. Public School helps the students to become effective, motivated learner and thinker of the twenty first century world. The school covers many courses in Medical, Non-Medical, Commerce and Humanities streams for the 10+2 level. The school has technically equipped classrooms, well stocked library, computer lab, science lab, conference hall, and adequate play areas. These are resources that assist students in becoming excellent in one or the other field of endeavor. Students of D. A. V. Public School have always been outstanding performers both academically, sports and other co-curriculum related activities.
