Dinet Manik Syiem Memorial Higher Secondary School prepares the student for Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE)examination, and over the years of excellent results and increase in the enrolment, it was felt that a Higher Secondary section was required. It was until early 2015 that the Education Department gave its permission to start with class XI (Arts Stream).
