ICLES’ Motilal Jhunjhunwala College of Arts, which is located in Vashi, Navi Mumbai has become a well-known institution with a commitment to cultural as well as education development. The India Cultural League was started in 1942 by Late Shri Amalendu Roye wherein the youth were encouraged to participate in cultural and sports activities so as to be a Patriotic youth. After gaining independence the company turned into India Culture League (ICL), which participated in the propagation of arts and music, drama, dance, sports, and education and played a very active role in the growth of football culture in Mumbai, bagging champions in many tournaments. Later in 1975, to take up the noble task of education, ICL has formulated the India Culture League Education Society (ICLES) with special concern for the educational necessity of the Project Affected Families (PAF) & other downtrodden sections of the society at Navi Mumbai. It aims to excellence offers fair education & value based learning & holistic development and produces good citizens. As for the educational institutes, the ICL Junior College was started in the year 1978 and the Degree College started in the year 1984.
