With this vision at the helm, many educational initiatives were embarked upon in his stewardship. With its focus on social progress and improvement, the institution has established 376 education facilities thus far. Shikshan Maharshi Dr. Bapuji Salunkhe, the founder of the institution, was a great educationist who had devoted his whole life for bringing up educational institutions in Maharashtra and few places in Karnataka. The author’s tireless work availed results in terms of the institution size and constant achievement. Some of the ways that the institution has alleviated the plight of vulnerable individuals who lack education and social support include; providing schools, colleges, agricultural as well as technical institutes, and boarding schools and hostels. The New Model English School using Shri Vivekanand Shikshan Sanstha continues this noble cause and tries to provide education and all around personality development to the students.
