The School is a co educational institution established in the year 2000 by Mr D.N. Mosahari and Mrs Iwitawan Chullai along with the support of their four children. he School was established with the sole purpose to enable the children, youth, parents and residents of Jowai town and its adjoining areas, particularly the vast majority of people who are economically not in a position to pursue their studies in schools outside the district, to meet the needs and aspirations for availing their overall improvement and achievement and most of all to be well equipped to succeed beyond school and contribute actively to the community. The school has withstood the test of time, evolving and moulding itself to the changes of time and at present it is still firmly established and has been offering Higher Secondary Education since the year 2019 in the Arts stream.
