Rashtriya Military School

The Rashtriya Military School was established in 1938 at Ajmer as King George’s Royal Indian Military School with the aim to educate the sons of defense personnel. Again in 1952, the schools underwent a structural change that brought them in line with a Public School review and expanded their enrolment to sons of Defense Service Officers and civilians. Before arriving at its current name, the school affiliated with the Indian Public Schools Conference in 1954 and continues to do so. Bharat Regiments School changed its name in 1966; new motto: “Sheelem Param Bhushanam” – Character is the Highest Virtue On 25 th June 2007, the schools were given the name Rashtriya Military School. The school of thought is culturally built with a tradition of providing quality education to students with favorable employment records within the Armed Forces and other sectors to support the nation. Rashtriya Military School is committed to grooming leaders, developing discipline and caliber of students in their academic pursuits while preparing them to become staunch soldier and loyal citizens of India. This policy of character development in students and general students’ molding remain its potent hall mark, which makes the institution a well reputed one.
