It was upgraded to middle school in 1959 and to High school in 1965. Under the new Education Policy, school started 10+2 system for girls in 1987-88 which was extended for boys as well in 2001-02. In 1979 school shifted to its present complex sprawling over an area of 6 acres with well – lit class-rooms, state of the art, science and computer labs, three libraries with 18950 books, an auditorium, a Yajyashala to inculcate Vedic culture and vast play- grounds for field and track events . The school has strength of 4000 students and well qualified faculty of 180 teachers along with support staff that provides value based and quality education to future citizens of India.
