The school started functioning at Lohara Bada, Station Road, with just 35 students, three teachers and a maid. The noble aim of the Founder was to cater to the future needs of the children of Rajnandgaon by establishing an affordable and good English Medium school. In 1993, the school was shifted to its present campus at Lal Bagh, each wing of the building being constructed gradually. The school was affiliated to the MP board initially. In 1999 the school got affiliated to a highly reputed pan Indian board, ICSE and ISC, run by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE), New Delhi. In 2007, the school opened another branch at Churia, a small town about 40 Kilometres from Rajnandgaon. The initiative was welcomed by the citizens of Churia, as there were no English medium schools there. In 2009, the Society expanded and established Royal College for BEd with the aim of preparing good professionally trained teachers. It was affiliated to Pt Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur.
