They argue that learning is a fun activity thus suggesting that it is a consistent process with an impact on every learner’s childhood and future adulthood as a general principle of that school. Thus, when students are involved in active learning, the aim of achieving high academic results complemented by the all-rounded development of students as athletes, artists, scientists, writers or creative minds is attained. R. S. E. M. S offers a curriculum through which this learning process may occur and can be a memorable experience. Every term learners go on what is called a “Learning Journey” in which they can also help shape the result. These journeys lead to concrete deliverables such as a presentation, an exhibition, a book for those greedy for knowledge, or lessons for other students. Besides catering for the National Curriculum, it plays an added role of preparing the children on the sort of person they would wish to be in future.
