No. 1601-S of 1989) under the provisions of article 30(1) of the Indian Constitution; for Christians and all others without any distinction of caste, creed or colour. We, at St. Joseph’s Higher secondary School, Baramulla, commit ourselves to achieve and sustain excellence in imparting holistic education to our students as per the vision of our Lord Jesus Christ envisaged in the Gospel, going beyond the curriculum prescribed by Jammu & Kashmir State Board of School Education, so that they may become worthy citizens of our motherland India, and an asset to humanity. Grooming of the young to become efficient, skilful, successful and worthy citizens of the country would be the dream of every parent and the aim of this educational institution. In compliance with the Central Government administration ban on smoking at public places, SJS has decided to confirm to the ban and has declared its premises as a “No-Smoking Zone”. All the visitors are requested to strictly adhere to it.
