It is run by the religious congregation of Salesian Missionaries of Mary Immaculate (SMMI) St. Mary's English Medium School takes its name from its Patroness "Mary Mother of Jesus " Education of the poor and illiterate was one of the visions of the founders of the society, a French Missionary, Sister Marie Gertrude who came to India in 1889. The first school of the society was founded in 1907 in Nagpur and has successfully completed its 100 golden years of service. Many other schools of the society are rendering their services in the length and width of the country. We envision today's children as tomorrow's leadership icons. We have impacted a milestone departure from the teacher-led to the child-centric. Our learning environment enables each child to realize their unique learning style, while our good teacher helps them discover their own creative and aesthetic potential.
