Originally founded as a boys’ charity under the Catholic Church meant to educate fatherless and needy boys in boarding school at Kurji, the school has expanded exponentially in the number of students as well as physical development. Currently, the school has a population of over 4800 students of both sexes, and therefore as a result one can note that St Michael High School is among those institutions that have an innate ability to deliver quality education. It may be a very old school as it will be celebrating its 165th anniversary soon though it still maintains its traditions while incorporating new school systems, methods, techniques, skills, and technologies.

Either you need them to change your life or you're the one that will change theirs" Academic year 2018-19 was a special & Memorable year that we will cherish in the years ahead. It was yet another milestone celebrating the 160th anniversary of St. Michael's High School and the glorious 50 years of the Jesuit administration. It has been a year long celebration to commemorate our success in pursuing excellence in education and to witness the remarkable achievements of this school. We look back on its 160 years with pride and satisfaction. The school which had a modest beginning in 1858 in now well established and prestigious. Throughout its 160 years of history, St. Michael's has been making efforts to provide all-round education through effective educational strategies
