St Stephens School
St. Stephen’s School has been named so because this school aims to follow the ideologies and martyr spirit of St. Stephen, one of the first seven deacons in the early Christian church. For these reason, his sustained commitment towards supporting the voiceless and vulnerable is a signpost to the bele. While they hated Stephen for telling people the whole truth and nothing but the truth, he boldly continued to pray for the salvation of those who were persecuting him, just as Jesus had urged His followers to do. This self sacrificing Stephen’s attitude made the founder of the school, Mr. Carver decide to give it the name of St. Stephen. Mr. Carver appreciated Stephen’s ability to forgive even those who punished him, it proved that the school provided support and stood for inclusion and strength. In remembrance of Stephen, the school community recalls the acts of heroism, hope, and the principles of generosity and forgiveness on December 26th. Learning by doing and willingness to serve, St. Stephen School aims at inculcating these values among its students so that they may face future with strong spirit of sacrificing and honorable.
