St Theresas Convent School
St. Theresa’s Convent School, Karnal a girl’s school was founded in 1961 by the Bethany Educational Society Mangalor, a Christian Religious Minority Institution. The Bethany Educational Society was registered in 1948 – 1949 under the Societies’ Registration Act XXI of 1860 No. 17 The administrative centre of the Bethany Educational Society is in the Bethany Generalate, Mangalore. Only comprising of the Catholic nuns belonging to the Congregation of the Sisters of the Little Flower of Bethany, the Synod runs a number of formal and non-formal schools all across the country. Informed by strong convictions about education for the needy, disenfranchised, and particularly impoverished and rural girls, the rights of Indian women within this spectrum were actively defended by him. This is evident with the presence of St. Theresa’s Convent School, as it diligently tries to impart quality education and to produce orderly and productive the students.
