St Xaviers Collegiate School
Founded on 16th January, 1860, St. Xavier’s Collegiate School was originally a minority institution with the objective of educating catholic boys. Initially, the school was for only Protestant boys but the school has since allowed boys from all religions. The school has rounded goals and objectives of character moulding, religious and moral teachings, and being responsible members of society for its students. The school has rich and noble objectives to mould young students into responsible citizens of the country; Sporting ethnical and moral values for example, integrity, compassion and leadership. It is not just aimed at providing knowledge and information but also at shaping part of human character which can enrich the society. Conveying the paramount features of cleanliness, order and discipline required and expected in school the school has the noble ambition of shaping good habits of the students. In this way St. Xavier’s Collegiate School aims at inculcating the feeling of citizenship and duties towards India as well as bringing up the kind of citizens who are capable of rendering their services to the society and nation and also can also be responsible citizens of the world.
