Journey from NAV BHARAT JAGRITI KENDRA (NBJK) to SUREKHA PRAKASH BHAI PUBLIC SCHOOL (SPPS) has been eventful in many ways. Four Engineering Graduates motivated with the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi, established NBJK a voluntary organization (VO), in the year 1971 with a mission to establish a "Just” society. Over years NBJK has reached many milestones in the sector of rural development and is now known as one of the best VO of the country. Holistic development being the approach, NBJK realized that “Education " is the first step towards any development process. It was also felt that English Medium of education from the very deigning prepares a child a much better way for higher professional courses and other competitions that provide best opportunities in life. Thus in 2003, SPPS got established with a standard of “World Class Package“ following CBSE curriculum. It also equally emphasizes on character building and nurturing best human values in a child. Accordingly experienced, qualified and committed teachers have been enrolled who are working under the able leadership of professionally qualified Principal and the school management board.
