The International School Bangalore is a relatively younger school founded in the year 2000 under the inspiration of Dr. K P Gopalakrishna. Better known by its full name which is The Indian School, Bahrain, TISB is one of the premier independent selective boarding and day international schools of India. TISB is headed by Dr. Gopalkrishna and I have seen the school represent a vision of providing the best education to learners. Apart from being a Cardinal, Dr Gopalkrishna was the Chairman and the Founder of The National Public Schools (NPS) more commonly referred to as National School, Banglore which is one of the premier educational institutions in the country. The first NPS School was started in 1959 at Rajajinagar, Bangalore and the schools follow a tradition that many schools look up to. The NPS network was further amended in the year 2008 which encompassed schools in Bangalore, Chennai, Mysore, and NPS International Singapore as the government of Singapore invited it. Over the years, TISB has remained committed to quality learning and provides an academically challenging environment with an IB and an IGCSE option. With emphasis placed on time-honored principles imbued with contemporary worldviews.
