Vidya Vikas Education Society in Mumbai learner’s vision is to being one among the premier education center that imparts value based quality education with innovation to develop the student especially the social down-trodden. Formed in 1962 the society initially started its functioning in a night school at Pantanagar, Ghatkopar and then expanded its operations. In the last 61 years, the society has evolved from being a small-scale project up to being a large network of educational institutions. It now runs eighteen branches comprising schools and colleges, both in the metropolitan cities and towns in Vangani and Redi in the districts of Thane and Sindhudurg. These branches operate day and night sessions where the society offers excellent education to approximately 11,357 students who are from the working class families mostly. This progress has been aided by the college having a qualified staff of 455 teaching and non-teaching employees who hold the vermiculture to develop a healthy populace amongst students. Social aspirations are still trying to be met through education by Vidya Vikas Education Society with the aim of bringing changes and enhancements in the society and lives of their students.
