Vishwas Vidyalaya
Vishwas Vidyalaya was started in the year 2005 with a team of three members of teaching faculties located in the village Sanp ki Nagli, Sohna block of Gurugram district of Haryana state. Since its formation it began with conducting eye and health camps to know about the problem the village school children faced and to admit a few children from the village suffering from certain learning disabilities into the primary school itself the organization has grown up tremendously. In last decade Vishwas Vidyalaya brought change in lives of 1900 disabled children and youths of Sohna block covering every Panchayat and Ward. In 2007 Vishwas Vidyalaya shifted to Sushant Lok Gurugram and in two years they again adopted an abandoned school building in sector 46 Gurugram and converted it into a full-fledged accessible school and resource center. This project being completed made it easier for the school to take a giant leap in extending its capacity and authority. This use holds many partnerships with organizations including the National Trust, Haryana Education Department, and Disabilities Rights Group so as to encourage participations of the disabled and enhance the opportunities of employments for the impaired.
