The university was set up by Drs Jagdish and Bharti Gandhi and the slogan being ‘Jai Jagat’ in accordance with the hsine pricipal ‘Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam’ or the world is a family. This principle is adopted from Mahatma Gandhi and Sant Vinobba Bhave to avoid any form of discrimination and live as world citizens. Based on its tradition, students of this school are greeting each other with Jai Jagat after it was established to promote tolerance and teach ethical values among students. The CMS hence offers education from kindergarten to grade 12 wherein the education is holistic enhancing the learners academic, moral and social front. Due to its centrality in Lucknow CMS seeks to produce students with sound academic skills as well as positive attitude towards fellow human beings and the society in general. The policy of the school allows students to respect ethnic and cultural differences, maintain the principles of ethical and moral values, and create a sustainable impact on society’s progress.
